About Deb

I’m a writer and digital marketer who’s spent years inside complex organizations -shaping narratives, supporting leaders, and observing what actually holds teams together when job titles and org charts fall short.

I’m also a digital nomad, currently living and working from a semi-truck with my husband and our Old English bulldog.

This space explores the hidden dynamics of work - the emotional labor, quiet leadership, and unspoken rules that shape professional life, especially for high performers.

I write about:

  • how leadership behavior ripples through culture

  • why some people carry more than their share

  • what burnout and disengagement really look like

  • how identity shifts after professional change

  • whatever else strikes me as amusing

This isn’t hustle content. It’s thoughtful, honest writing for people who carry more than most - and want language for the work beneath the work.

There’s a more in-depth explanation here:

The Work Beneath the Work

In any case - welcome! Thanks for coming along for the ride!
